Database emergency support, 24/7

Production database down, corrupted, or crawling? One call reaches a senior US-based DBA who works the problem directly. Call (844) 282-3282 now.

24/7 × 365. Senior US-based DBAs. No junior staff on critical issues.

If your database is down right now

(844) 282-3282 Having an issue and need help now? Call us. A senior US-based DBA answers 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, with no triage queue and no ticket to file first.

A senior DBA engages within 15 minutes on any qualifying emergency, works the problem directly, and keeps your team and your leadership informed at every step. There is no escalation path to climb and no tier-one triage to get through.

Have what you can to hand when you call: which server or database is affected, what changed recently, what your users are seeing, and who can authorize a restore. If you do not have any of it, call anyway. Working that out is part of the first fifteen minutes.

For an emergency, please call; the phone line is the fastest route to a DBA. For anything else, email info@fortifieddata.com or contact us the usual way.

What counts as an emergency

Routine issues are handled as standard requests. Not sure which applies? Call us and we will route it with you.

  • Production data loss or corruption, including a suspect database, transaction log corruption, a dropped table or accidental deletion, or a restore that has not gone to plan.
  • Severe performance degradation or failure that is impairing business operations, including cluster, Always On availability group, and replication failures, and failed upgrades or patches.
  • Security events that need immediate remediation at the database layer.

What happens when you call

A senior DBA, immediately

No helpdesk, no script, no queue. You reach a senior database specialist, backed by a team that has worked in critical database environments since 2002. Data is all we do.

Options, with their trade-offs

We establish what failed and what the environment looks like, then put the recovery options to you with the risk and the time each one carries. A mishandled recovery turns a recoverable situation into permanent data loss, which is why the first decision is made deliberately.

A record of what happened

Once you are back online you get a timeline of events and every action taken, and root cause analysis on request, so the change that prevents a recurrence is one you can act on.

Not on a plan yet

Emergency support is available whether or not you have an agreement with us. It is faster when you do.

On-Call DBA puts the 15-minute response under contract, with no limit on emergency calls and a bank of hours for the upgrades, migrations, and tuning in between. The onboarding that comes with it means the DBA who answers your first call already knows your environment.

If you would rather we watched the environment so the call never has to be made, that is what a managed service plan does: monitoring, alerting, maintenance, and patching around the clock.

Common questions

Do we have to be an existing client to call?

No. Call whether or not you have an agreement with us. We will establish what has failed and what the recovery options are, and we will tell you plainly if the work is better handled by someone else.

How quickly will someone respond?

Within 15 minutes, from a senior DBA, 24 hours a day and 365 days a year, for any qualifying emergency we can handle, whether or not you are a client. The emergency line bypasses triage, so the first person you speak to is the person working the problem.

Which database platforms do you cover?

Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL, on premises or in AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud.

What does emergency support cost?

It depends on what has happened and what recovery takes. We agree terms with you before work begins, so the work starts quickly and on a clear footing. Organizations that want the cost and the response time agreed in advance put On-Call DBA in place before they need it.

Do you monitor our databases so we do not have to call?

Not through emergency support, which is a response service: you call, we respond. Continuous monitoring, alerting, maintenance, and reporting are part of every managed service plan.

Do not wait for the next one

An agreement in place before an incident means the DBA who answers already holds your access details, escalation contacts, and recovery objectives, and starts work instead of starting paperwork.

Let us show you what's possible.
